Yes, it’s back. The once in a life-time opportunity to play at London club Chew the Fat! without having to climb the ranks via years of taking requests in shitty DJ bars, playing to indifferent crowds of locals (who just want a quiet drink) and getting no money.
Instead, make us a brilliant, outstanding, original mixtape and you could find yourself being let loose to twiddle some knobs at The Arches, our state of the art 1200 capacity venue. For no money.

Then send us a CD of what you think would make a suitable warm-up on July 31st along with a tracklist, your name, DJ name (if different), e-mail and mobile contact details, to Chew the Fat!, Battersea Business Centre, Unit 36, 99-109 Lavender Hill, London, SW11 5QL. Unfortunately we don’t have time/can’t be arsed to listen to downloads.

You have to win the competition first! And unfortunately while our hearts are full of love, our pockets aren’t that deep. DJs will need to make their own way to the gig.
