End of decade mix from Chicago partymaster and founder of the infamous Fly By Night party Willy Joy.

I was really psyched when the Fat! Club asked me to put this mix together… until I actually started trying to pick my favorite songs from an entire decade of music. I ended up with 12 (cheating, I know!) tunes that I think represent past, present and future dance music, as well as say a lot about me as a DJ and a Dance music enthusiast. Things I love: Chicago and its unmistakable sound, face-melting bass, pianos, diva vocals, interesting rhythms, things that sound like the blood shower scene in the first Blade movie, ‘raves’, cheesy pop garbage, and most of all: weird stuff. I stayed away from a lot of ‘obvious’ choices, so don’t yell at me if your favorite tune isn’t on here – I think this mix probably paints a picture of me as much as it does the last decade.
