Push Play Fundraiser for Sonia Akow
28th March at the Egg
An incredible night for an incredible cause.
The 28th of March sees a most definitely hench line up taking the stage at The Egg in King’s Cross to support and raise money for a fundraiser for Sonia Akow. Sonia is a music PR and DJ (Soto) who was tragically diagnosed with Leukaemia and the show will raise funds, both for her and the Anthony Nolan Trust, who Sonia has been working with since her diagnosis.
The night has a rather good line up with Shy FX, Krafty Kuts, B-Traits, Dub Pistols, Elite Force, Freestylers, Deekline & Ed Solo and Shut Up & Dance amongst others, as well as our very own Paul ‘Trouble’ Arnold!
This is a really important benefit both to raise awareness for stem cell donation and also to help Sonia who has worked with so many in her career so far, most of the acts on the line-up have known Sonia and every one is very keen to help in any way they can.
Check out the facebook event here.
Organisers of the event are urging people to join the Anthony Nolan Trust. Joining a donor register may sound daunting, but all you have to do is fill in a short form and provide a saliva sample. Contact them here (if you’re under 30): http://www.anthonynolan.org/join
