Ahead of the next Chew The Fat!, it is time to introduce Siren Dipity, who are getting involved with Room 2 alongside Young Gunz, bringing a distinctive brand of Gallic-Celtic party spirit. We’re excited, you should be too. Head down to their night a week Saturday for a cheeky taster of what to expect in Room 2. For now, here’s a bit more background and a mix from main man, BadBob.

Born in the sweaty basements and warehouses of East London, Siren Dipity is quickly establishing itself as one of hottest properties in London nightlife. Based on the ethos that “people like evil music”, it is the brainchild of Irish DJ BadBob and Frenchies Lolak and RADAR!. The night began when all three lived together in a decaying warehouse which became the scene of “house parties” to rival any warehouse party, with hundreds of people, club soundsystems, lazers and smoke machines replacing cocktail sausages and punch!

Moving on from that the boys began playing around the underground venue before settling on a residency at the Horse & Groom. It is here that their cult following grew and grew and soon big payers started to take notice. That led to Siren Dipity joining forces with Plump DJ’s for a series of epic sell-out London gigs at XOYO and the Nest, and plans for a mini European tour with Plumps at the end of the year are going well. You can n0w catch the boys on the same line-ups as Erol Alkan, A-Trak, Boy 8-Bit to name but a few! If you like it big and dirty, these guys are for you!
