Didn’t get enough urban vibes at carnival? Or maybe you couldn’t make it this year at all? Never fear, because tickets are on sale now for the Red Bull Culture Clash, at London’s iconic Wembley Arena on 7th November. This year they’re promising a ‘musical battleground’, with reggae, dubstep, grime, UK house and garage coming together for the ultimate post-carnival event. Representing at this unique live music concept (on four separate stages) will be MAJOR LAZER + Special Guests, ANNIE MAC presents MAGNETIC MAN, BOY BETTER KNOW and CHANNEL ONE, all competing in what will undoubtedly be an epic sound clash.
Radio 1Xtra’s big dog bomb-dropper Tim Westwood (co-hosting the event alongside Gemma Cairney) is warming up for the ultimate party: “This ain’t the same old same old. This ain’t your regular high street club. This is Wembley Arena with four soundsystems, one in each corner, tearing it down to find one soundsystem to claim the throne at the Red Bull Culture Clash.”
Pick up your tickets here but if you can’t get along or this event, keep your eyes on the Culture Clash website for news on more carnivalesque events up and down the UK this autumn.
