Ahead of their main room appearance at Chew the Fat! on July 31st, Disco of Doom dropped us a bit of a taster of what to expect from their filthy telechno (electro plus techno= telechno. Pass it on).

First up there’s a DJ mix, taking in the much-hyped Major Lazer, Riva Starr, Arveene & Misk, Jokers Of The Scene, Atomic Drop and of course, Disco of Doom themselves, including a cheeky boot of The Chemical Brothers.

Then there’s the bootleg itself.

Bit of trivia I’ve just realised. Tom Real, one half of Disco of Doom, has a brother called Ed. The Chemical Brothers are also called Tom and Ed (although they’re not ‘Real’ brothers if you’ll pardon the pun). Fascinating, I know…

Anyway, also watch out for forthcoming DoD remxes of Etienne De Crecy and Si Begg, plus their own night, Out Of The Box, which kicks off at The White House, Clapham, on August 21st with Detroit Grand Pubahs and Toddla T, and has Shadow Dancer, DJ Zinc and Tomb Crew the month after.
