The twentieth release on Numbers comes courtesy of London’s Randomer. Awe-inspiring drum programming on ‘Real Talk’ – this is the sound of a Junglehead switching sides and scarpering off down the garden path into techno and house territories.
From the Dance Mania on steroids vibes of the title track, the acid laced ‘Lime Pie’ and the nightmarish clanging funk of ‘Stalker’, this is tailormade for the freakier environs of the dancefloor.
Over recent times Randomer aka Rohan Walder has built up a small but heavy-hitting body of work – releasing ‘Brunk’ (on Hessle Audio’s 116 & Rising compilation), the acid tinged ‘Obtuse’ via Super and the carnivalistic do-over ‘Be Electric’. His debut outing for Numbers is a three-track exploration of his darker side.
