With a stylistic nod to the British jazz-rap of the early ‘90s, this piano-led, upbeat groover of a track features music maestro Mark ‘Merka' Ford (Mystic Man) and MC Esher (Eshamanjaro) both on top of their game. Although known primarily as a dance producer, this foray into hip-hop from Merka is both refreshing and addictive. Rolling drums an soaring strings mesh effortlessly with Esher's self-assured, freewheeling rhyme style. A remix from Gella swaps Ford's sophisticated production for an old-school bassline and a rubbery funk feel.
