There’s not really any doubt that the artwork was lifted from Baobinga’s ‘Joint Ventures’ album however the actual origins of the piece itself stems back to a highly decorated (no pun intended) minimalist artist, Frank Stella. So you do have to wonder where the line is drawn as with artistic ‘Sampling’ but that’s another discussion all together. For now, The Dj Vadim artwork has been changed (which we won’t comment on any further!) and apologies sent, so let’s get back to being oblivious to copyright law and listening to the new Vadim mixtape … enjoy
