PANTyRAID – Mini-mix

Adam Freeland – Adam Freeland went to Brighton and all we got was this lousy mixtape!

We’ve not posted much on Marine Parade recently, mainly because while the UK has been getting back to the roots of bass-influenced rave music Adam Freeland has been larging it with the likes of Tommy Lee in LA.

Then we got sent a couple of recent mixes which have been helping us enjoy the summer sun.

The first is a mini-mix from new signing PANTyRAID, whose debut single ‘Beba’ is out at the end of this month.

Comprising Josh Mayer, aka Ooah of The Glitch Mob, and Marty Folb, aka Marty Party, they make in their own words, ”hip hop, dub step, electro-crunk… all done right with hard booty shaking instrumentation.” We’ve had a sneak preview of their album and it’s far better than their frat-boy name.

The other is a brilliant Adam Freeland mix, sent to us by Steve King, which dips in to electronica, techno and meditations for manifesting. LA has obviously left it’s mark. Though judging from the picture above, it’s not all tofu and wheat-grass smoothies just yet…
