Los Angeles based Urulu aka Taylor Freels has just dropped this mightily impressive EP on Shir Khan’s brilliant Exploited Records. Utilising a combination of haunting vocal samples, luscious deep chords and low slung basslines Urulu has created a lovely warm, stripped back sound, which manages to nod back to early house influences whilst remaining thoroughly contemporary.
