June sees another top line-up as Chew The Fat! mash up electro, house and breaks in the main room, while Bubble and Squeak bring their broken beat vibes to the lounge.
TOM REAL & ROGUE ELEMENT pres. DISCO OF DOOM - When the breaks scene's bright young things realised they weren't playing many breaks any more, they decided it was time to come up with a new moniker. Disco Of Doom was born, and with a regular show on Samurai FM and now a new series of EPs due for release on the eclectic Passenger Records, it looks like 2008 will witness the launch of something pretty special. Expect block-rocking electro and party techno galore.
PUNKS JUMP UP - London's Punks Jump Up are the half English/half Swedish electro duo signed to the legendary Kitsune label.Their reputation as DJs and producers and is second to none, with remixes for Simian Mobile Disco, Digitalism, Gossip and Peter, Bjorn and John already under their belts and a worldwide DJ schedule. Making their Fat! debut tonight make sure you don't miss out.
DEADLY RHYTHM DJs - Making their name with a series of hugely successful events at the infamous Amersham Arms, the Deadly Rhythm DJs have built up a reputation for eclectic sets with impeccable taste. From dubstep to electro, fidget house to techno these boys know how to work the crowd.
PLAZA DE FUNK - Everyone's favourite Italian goes from strength to strength, finding time to pick up DJ awards, release corking tunes on any number of labels and generally rocking every party he gets behind the decks at. Fast becoming a firm favourite at Chew The Fat!
FOAMO - Not often does talent come along that immediately demands to be snapped up, but Foamo is one of those rarities. At the slender age of 21 he's already had plays from Kissy Sell Out and his production skills are being praised by experienced players twice his age. Definitely one to watch and making his Fat! debut tonight.
Not forgetting resident the ever dependable Kid Blue in support!
BUBBLE AND SQUEAK... Hosting the lounge this month is Bubble and Squeak, the guys behind the infamous Best Kept Secret parties. With the every impressive Maurice Fulton and broken beat funksters Spiritual South laying down the beats alongside residents Nick Matthews and Solid Gold, expect an evening of hip-hop and house infused lounge vibes.
