Since we’re heading down to Brighton this month we thought we’d post something from one of its most talented artists, Cagedbaby, who records on the excellent Southern Fried Records.

Known as Tom Gandey to his mum, and ‘Rave Mears’ to his mates, he’s a classically trained pianist (yes, we said penis), vocalist, producer, remixer and DJ. There’s must be something in the cream tea. This recent live mix, which our man Steve King brought to our attention, shows off his skills and is packed full of killer tracks and re-edits.

Our champion resident, Foamo, then pops up again with his remix of Cagedbaby’s last single which has been doing the business at the past few Chew the Fats.
