The Fat! Club

The Fat! Club encompasses a blog, record label (Fat! Records), club night (Chew the Fat!), management company and DJ agency (TFA Bookings).

Chew the Fat!

After 14 years of partying Chew the Fat! is still the focal point and the face of all that is Fat! Founder Paul ‘Trouble’ Arnold has been championing underground UK club music at his parties since 1997, from sweaty South London basement parties to a weekly residency at Bug Bar Chew the Fat! became the first party to support emerging Breaks DJs including Adam Freeland, Plump DJs, Tayo and Freq Nasty. Later moving to The Key, then legendary London venue The End and now based at Cable, London Bridge Chew the Fat! remains synonymous with fresh parties, cutting edge beats and good, honest, unpretentious fun.

Just some of the DJs who have played… Layo & Bushwacka, Fake Blood, Nero, Tom Middleton, Surkin, James Zabiela, Redlight, Rodney P, Radioactive Man, Paul Woolford, D Ramirez, Hervé, Skream, Reso, Dave Spoon, Bobmo, Stanton Warriors, Duke Dumont, Foamo, Hijack, Zombie Disco Squad, Riton, Miles Dyson, Zomby, SebastiAn, The Rogue Element, Drums Of Death, MJ Cole, Roska, DJ Zinc, SBTRKT, Boy 8-Bit, DJ Derek, Martyn, Julio Bashmore… the list goes on.

This long-running commitment to UK undergound music has seen Chew the Fat! host arenas at festivals across the UK and Europe, monthly parties around the globe and four consecutive summer residencies at We Love…Space, Ibiza. Now, more than ever, the UK underground scene is overflowing with creative minds and upfront beats and Paul Arnold is still as passionate as ever about showcasing new talent on dancefloors worldwide.
