Rattus Rattus – Chew The Fat! 12th Birthday Promo Mix (MediaFire)

For the second in our series of special 12th Birthday interviews we caught up with Urban Nerds resident and notorious bass rodent Rattus Rattus. To celebrate the occasion he made us this birthday minimix, our first present! You can catch him playing in the second room at The Arches on Friday October 9th alongside UK House don Marcus Nasty, Spyro and Flirta D. CTF: If you had a talent, what would it be?

RR: Being able to create the fabled Brown Note using just beat boxing skills.

CTF: If you were captured by gay pirates and had to choose any object to be inserted into your bottom to save your life, what would it be and why?

RR: A parrot, so when they discovered it they’d assume i was the gayest pirate there was. Make me captain and i could take advantage of all the perks that come with the position.

CTF: Who is the biggest twunt in dance music?

RR: Pretty much everyone you meet including me… its part of the right of passage.

CTF: Apart from your close relatives, do you think anyone will know who you are in three years time?

RR: Probably no-one, Rats don’t live that long.

CTF: On a scale of 1 to brain-dead, how many brain cells would you reckon you have left?

RR: Quite a few actually, i got a scientist to cultivate a new brain on my back along with my third ear.

CTF: If we were to weigh your balls, which reconstituted meat product would you estimate they weigh the equivalent of (e.g. mini-scotch egg, pork pie, jumbo sausage roll etc)?

RR:A tin of spam. The weight of the tin would depend on how many showers i’d had that day.

CTF: On a scale of one to ‘cool’, how ‘cool’ do you think you look when you walk through a public space carrying a record bag? Do you look cool? Do you? Well do you?

RR: I’m cool all the time with or without a record bag… haven’t you seen my haircut? For extra effect I usually walk around with my headphones round my neck.

CTF: When did you last weep for humanity and why?

RR: Never i can’t wait for all of you to kill each other so the rodents and the cockroaches can inherit the earth.

CTF: If you were a pizza topping, which would you be and why?

RR: Dandruff, Scabies and Ruined Dreams…. Just keeping it real

CTF: What is the point of a DJ?

RR: To show off on twitter

CTF: Where will you be in 12 years time?

RR: Dead….. stop rubbing it in, don’t make me give you the black death.

CTF: Any final words of wisdom?

RR: When perving on schoolgirls remember to wear clothing. It tends to draw attention to you if your naked and ready to go standing outside the school gates.
